Frequently Asked Questions
What is the actual outside diameter of the 8ft model?
The 8ft round Primus measures approximately 8 feet across at the outer frame edge.
This ensures a compact footprint while still providing a well-balanced jumping surface for smaller yard spaces.
How deep does the hole need to be for the 8ft in-ground installation?
The 8ft Primus Flat requires a minimum excavation depth of 2 feet 6 inches at the center.
Proper depth ensures correct airflow beneath the jump mat and allows the trampoline to perform as designed once installed.
Where is the 8 ft Primus manufactured and shipped from?
Akrobat trampolines are engineered and manufactured in Europe. AkrobatUSA ships from our warehouses in San Diego, CA and Alexandria, VA.
Is the 8ft model stable in areas with higher winds?
Because the 8ft Primus installs flush to the ground, it naturally has a lower wind profile than above-ground trampolines.
Its in-ground design and solid frame construction provide added stability once properly installed.
Does the 8ft Primus include everything needed for in-ground installation?
Yes. The 8ft Primus Flat in-ground model includes the frame, jump mat, pad, springs, spring tool, bungee components, installation manual, and weed protection fabric.
Enclosures and covers are available separately if desired.
Akrobat Reviews
These trampolines are very well made and super bouncy. Well worth the money, also highly recommended for wonderful customer service. This company stands behind their product and is very responsive.
We love this trampoline! Hit of the neighborhood; we're routinely the popular house for all the kids. Quality is second to none, we love that it doesn't mess up our view of the 8-acre lake in our backyard, and putting it in an area with soft sod keeps everyone safe! Great product!

My daughters have been waking up an hour early, so that they can get extra jump time before school. I am very pleased with my purchase. I believe my daughters fully agree. The delivery was very fast and the install was shortly thereafter. Thank you so much.

By far, one of the best purchases we have made in a real long time! Years of enjoyment lie ahead!
We love it. We had a standard above ground that the kids played on every now and then but this one is used EVERY day!

AkroVENT® Sport Jumping Mat
The AkroVENT® Sport jumping mat uses an open-weave design that allows air to move freely through the mat while jumping. Reduced air resistance helps create a smooth, responsive bounce while also improving airflow beneath the trampoline.
AkroSPRING® Pro Springs
AkroSPRING® Pro springs are engineered to provide a responsive, controlled bounce for jumpers of different ages and experience levels. The springs are protected against corrosion for lasting outdoor performance.
Durable Safety Padding
Thick, UV-resistant safety padding covers the springs and frame around the jumping area. Built for outdoor use, the protective padding is designed to withstand sun exposure and changing weather conditions while maintaining dependable coverage.
Hot-Dip Galvanized Steel Frame
The Primus frame is hot-dip galvanized with a zinc coating of at least 275 g/m² for enhanced protection against corrosion. The durable steel construction provides a strong, stable foundation designed for years of outdoor use.
